Yep, I can relate. Medium hooks writers in because of the connection between the writers through our comments and claps. It's like a dopamine shot whenever I receive a great comment.

I don't get the same type of engagement with readers on my WordPress blog or anything else I've published off Medium, and I guess that's why I devote much of my writing time here.
