Insert your photo below the title. Add photo credit: Include the credit of your self-taken photo beneath your photo—Eg. Photo by Mary Chang, author.

Attention: 6-Word Photo Story Summer Challenge participants!

I’ve had a few questions from writers as to how to format your story so I’ve created a guideline to follow — if it works for you! Note: I’m not a stickler as to the formatting of your story.

  1. Add your photo below the title.
  2. Write your 6-word story — like the example below. Make sure the story somehow connects to your feature photo. To make your story stand out, you can highlight your six words and click on the “lowercase T.”

Vibrant sails color the ocean breeze.

3. Make sure you include your photo credit — see my example beneath my feature photo.

4. Tag me by adding the below to the bottom of your 6-word photo story. This will notify me that you wrote a story and remind me to clap 50x for you!

5. Include the link below to my original article in your story which has the complete rules.
