Why I Write in Six Words
Six Word Photo Story Summer Challenge (August)
Found my flow, following my bliss.
I noticed that I caught the reflection of my phone in my sunglasses after I took this selfie. There’s also a shadow in the right lens. This is me — catching a shadow in my sunglasses and I love the beach — as much as I love to write.
This story is in tune with my August 6-Word Photo Story Summer Challenge where I dared writers to either publish a photo of themselves doing something brave or something they love or a capturing a self-taken photo of some type of shadow and write a story about it in six words.
As for the title of my story, I launched my personal blog, Mary Chang Story Writer, in 2019 with 6-word stories and my first article was “Why I Write in Six Words.”
This 6-word photo story was inspired by kasey sparks for her writing prompt, “Why do you write?” It sparked the memory of those early days of my blog. Here’s my answer to your tag question in six words and a photo combined with my August challenge, kasey sparks! I’ve been tagged a few times for various challenges so I’m multi-tasking and accepting the ones I can squeeze into six words.
