Oh Toni, I read this on the bus this morning and I'm so proud of you!!! I totally get the chocolate cake addiction.
It's GREAT that your husband is on board and got rid of the junk.
It's GREAT that you made a healthier choice while standing in line even after seeing that woman eat the slice of cake.
It's GREAT that you're self-aware and know that one slice won't make or break you, but you know that since it's the start of your fitness journey, you need to stick with clean eating so you don't slip down to sugar cravings that will lead to more junky eating.
AWESOME, you've made GREAT progress in only 27 days...8 pound weight loss--way to go! Maybe another 2 pounds.
You are right on track. I believe about 1-2 pound fat loss per week is healthy, feasible and manageable.

Lastly, I just love that you're feeling GREAT after not eating any sugar for 27 days! Crazy how addictive it is...and when we reduce or eliminate it...we really notice how our body and mind feel so much better.
