Love your take on the Power of One challenge, Shereen. I'm glad to hear you pushed and pedaled through to your destination even though it took longer. Perseverance at play with your strong will and that one path you found made all the difference. Well done:)

When I saw your photo, I was immediately reminded of bike trip I did a dozen years ago and part of our trip included a short ferry trip...but yep-when we arrived, the ferry was CLOSED. The three of us cyclists were like, WTF???

But I found someone who had a boat and we offered to pay him some cash to take us and our bikes across, and he said YES.

Turned out to be a great day, and I'm glad I had the courage to ask, as the others doubted he would take us across.
