Hi Penny, I’m glad to hear that your earnings have increased! However, I did also hear about how some writers’ earnings have dropped too. See pockett dessert’s comments on this story.

My guess is that the drop has affected the BIG earners…who are perhaps making well into the thousands monthly, but I don’t know for sure.

I’m still a wee fish in the big sea and publish an average of 6-10 stories per month, half of which are 6-worders so I’m pretty happy to see my earnings increase for the past two months.

I put a lot of effort into creating my stories, short six worders or not, and also regularly engage with and support the writers of this pub. So it seems the current algorithm is working at the moment to compensate my efforts and I’m thankful for that.

But who knows, things could shift next month…we just never know!

Almost 3 years on the platform for me so seeing a little bump in earnings makes my day and makes me feel a wee bit more appreciated. 💕
