For this December challenge, we're only accepting 6 word stories, so no backstories are allowed. By backstories, I mean further explanation as to how the 6-word story connects to the photo.

Some writers add their author bios, and links to promote other stories, at the end of their 6-word story, so I don't count those as backstories.

However, you're correct, typically we allow backstories (up to 2 minutes long) for all stories, but for this particular month's challenge, the challenge is only to write the six words.

If you like, you can write in the photo credit that you're a supporter of The Healing Place and that your story is about a friend, or perhaps you can add your bio at the end. Something like, Mark Krauss, Husband, Father/Grandfather...and supporter of The Healing Place to support loved ones.

Also, if you like, in the New Year (starting in January), you can submit a new Freestyle story about the Healing Place, and include a 2-min backstory at that time.
