Hi Ariel, I'm just following up on how it's going with the waitlist? I run a short form publication called Six Word Photo Story Challenge. Concept is "Can you tell a story in six words inspired by a photo taken by yourself?" I applied to be part of the boost program on July 11, 2023, but haven't heard back.
It's a photography publication, and stories are minimum six words, but typically, most writers submit a back story of up to two minutes.
Would you accept editors of this type of publication to be part of the boost program? Or are you only accepting editors of long-form publications?
We publish about 100+ stories per month and have an active, engaging, encouraging community of writers in our pub. The photographs range from regular people who enjoy photography to professional photographers.
We have a monthly prompt each month (this September is "Shadows." We're also open for freestyle pieces anytime.
People who write for and follow the pub tell me that they LOVE IT and are hooked on this type of storytelling.
